Our story
Easy MiniCab was founded in 2026 by a team with over 15 years of operating experience in the UK private hire industry. We saw two things that hadn’t kept up with the times: technology that drivers actually want to use, and customer service that respects your time.
So we set out to build a private hire operator from the ground up, with a modern booking system, a friendly all-British support team, and drivers who are paid fairly and treated as partners rather than headcount.
What we stand for
Reliability over hype
We don’t do surge pricing. We don’t hide fees. We tell you the price before you book and we charge that price when the trip is over. If your driver is late, we credit your account — no quibbling.
Drivers we’d trust with our families
Every driver on our fleet holds a council-issued PHV badge with an enhanced DBS check, completed our safeguarding training, and passed our internal road-knowledge assessment. Vehicles are inspected twice a year, fully insured Hire & Reward, and ULEZ-compliant.
Local accountability
Our control room is staffed 24/7 by a UK team who know the city, know the drivers, and can put a problem right in minutes — not by escalating to a faceless overseas call centre.
